Masinagudi best time to visit is the monsoon, followed by the winter months and summer.

Summer (March-May) To Enjoy the Shedding of Greenery

When water is scarce, and the deciduous tree starts shedding their leaves, winter becomes a time when animals can be found at waterholes or in the sparsely populated foliage. Even though summer is moderately hot, it cools off as the sunsets. Light mango showers are expected in May, which help to cool down the dry summer season. Summer is a great time to visit Masinagudi to see the birds and animals at the watering holes.

Some animals may move to deeper jungles as the temperatures rise in the summer. This might be a problem if you're out of animal spotting during this time of year.

Monsoon (June-October) Relax You Mind with Fresh & Vibrant Atmosphere

Monsoon rains transform forest areas into lush greenery. Masinagudi lies in a rain shadow area, which means it doesn't get heavy thundershowers but only short showers of rain. After a brief downpour, the forest is fresh and vibrant. During the monsoon, you can spot more animals. Masinagudi is said to be at its best this season.

Winter (November-February) Enjoy The Forest Dwelling with Birds

By the end of November, the northeast monsoon has passed. The early mornings in December and January are cloudy with mist, while the day is sunny and clear. This is a perfect time to travel and take great photos. You should bring sweaters and sensible trekking shoes. Winter is the best season to enjoy bird watching. Many forest-dwelling migratory birds will be arriving for winter.
